The Huddersfield United Reformed Church Group was formed on 3rd February 2019. The

The purpose of forming the Huddersfield Group of United Reformed Churches is to derive maximum strength and collective benefit from the skills and resources that will be brought together through this union, whilst retaining the autonomy of each individual church.

The Group is led by a Joint Policy and Planning Committee where each church is represented by its Ministers and a maximum of two representatives. The Group is called to develop and administer strategies and policies for our common life and future as a Group of Churches, reflecting the collective wishes of our constituent memberships and fellowships. This committee works to oversee the smooth running of the Group whilst arranging financial matters and other things consistent with supporting all aspects of our shared life, witness and ministry.

We believe that working in this way will enable us better to serve God in our communities.
